David is an Angel Investor in early stage companies eg Pillow Cube and &Collar, he was most recently CEO of maurices, a 900 store Omni-Channel retailer based in North America and Canada. Prior to maurices, David spent 20 years with Express, the 5th largest specialty retailer of women’s and men’s apparel in the U.S. David’s career with Express culminated in him being promoted to President in 2012, and then Chief Executive Officer of the brand. Prior to Express, David was Vice President of Business Development for Disney Stores and spent 10 years at Marks & Spencer in both Stores and Merchandising Management. David is a strong believer that corporate culture is integral to a company’s success. David attended St. Paul’s School in London, UK and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Management and Textiles from University of Manchester.
